2006 Bentley Azure Large Convertible

What Edmunds.com Says:This is the kind of convertible that will appeal to Bentley's traditional buyers, but those seeking a more dynamic drive will have to wait for the Continental based droptop.

What We Know: Bentley's true successor to the Azure, which was discontinued in 2003, was unveiled at the 2005 Los Angeles auto show and has been confirmed for production. This four-seat convertible shares its platform, as well as its front end and wheelbase with the most recent version of the Arnage. The Azure also features the Arnage's comfort suspension, as well as its 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V8. This powertrain produces 450 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. The cabin, which takes its cues from modern furniture design and features more seating space than the Azure, is unique to the vehicle, though, as is the rear end. Other special features include pop-up rollover protection, 19-inch chrome finished alloy wheels, LED-lit taillamps and a fully automatic canvas roof that descends completely in 25 seconds.
