2007 Bentley Continental GTC Midsize Convertible


The Bentley Continental GT coupe has been a runaway success, so when Bentley announced the impending arrival of the Continental GTC droptop it wasn't much of a surprise. Like the coupe, the Continental GTC will be powered by a 552-hp W12 that sends its substantial power to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic. Not all of the technical specs were released so we'll have to wait and see if it gained any weight. Bentley stylists worked hard to assure that the coupe's distinctive roofline wouldn't be lost with the switch to a soft top. So far, none of the official photos prove if they succeeded, but our unofficial spy pics seem to indicate that the GTC will look just fine when it goes on sale in the spring of 2006.
