The Bentley Arnage

The Bentley Arnage is a large luxury car produced by Bentley in the United Kingdom beginning in Spring of 1998. The Arnage and it's Rolls-Royce-branded sister, the Silver Seraph, were the first entirely new designs for the company since 1980.

A significant break from the past was under the bonnet: Whereas for decades prior, all Rolls and Bentley cars shared a single 6.75 L V8, the new Arnage was powered by a twin-turbo BMW V8, while the Silver Seraph used a BMW V12. Production of the Rolls-Royce model ended with BMW's takeover of that marque in 2002, while derivatives of the Arnage continue under Volkswagen AG's ownership to this day, though the old Rolls (now Cosworth) V8 has returned to the engine bay.

This vast car is more than 5 m long, almost 2 m wide, and having a mass of over 2.5 metric tonnes. For a time it was one of the most powerful and quickest four-door saloons on the market, and the torque of the 6.75 L engine is legendary.
